I recently said that collaborative creativity takes confidence and humility on the part of each of the team members.  How does a team encourage those virtues in each of its members?  It seems to me that between the members of the team there needs to be explicit interpersonal commitment.  Knowing my team members are committed me as a person enables me to be humble to receive creative criticism and confident to share ideas.  Interpersonal commitment makes space for collaborative teams to creatively flourish.
